Pin number fraud device found on Dunblane ATM

A mechanism which could read your pin number has been found on an ATM in Dunblane.

The skimming device, designed to read card numbers and log pin numbers when typed in, was discovered at the Tesco cash machine on Friday, December 23.

Community cop, Simon Fraser, urged anyone who saw anything suspicious around the store to contact him at Dunblane Police Office.

He said: “Can I ask that anyone who used the ATM that day check their bank account to make sure that there have been no unauthorised transactions on the account?

“If anyone discovers such transactions then please contact your bank or police.”
