Dunblane police unveil new priority focus for town
17 FebruaryPolice in Dunblane have announced their new priorites which the local force will be focussing on over the next two months, after consultation with local groups.
The ‘Police And Communities Together’ priorities for the next 2 months will be to reduce levels of anti-social behaviour in George Street, and also in the Smithy Loan and Holmhill areas.
Community constable Simon Fraser said: “These have been decided as a result of calls to police, crime reported and consultation with community groups. If you feel other problems should be included then please contact myself at Dunblane Police Office.

At the same time, a new inspector for the Dunblane Sub Area Command was announced, with the arrival of Inspector Pat Scroggie who has taken over from Inspector Catriona Paton who has left to work in the Public Protection Unit.
Inspector Scroggie, who is the community inspector for the Dunblane Sub Area command, said: “I am looking forward to the new challenges being a community policing inspector will bring.”
He has 25 years service with the force and has served in CID and the Public Protection Unit.
Inspector Scroggie said: “I am looking to continue to build on the work done by Inspector Paton and the community policing team here. I will bring my experience from CID and the Public Protection Unit and use that to the full advantage of the communities and established partnerships.
“I am sure there will be many challenges in dealing with rural criminality but I am really looking forward to that challenge.”
