Not sure if my comments are really in place here, but Jim McLeod was my boss when he asked me to open the Dunblane Hydro Disco in what was originally the gambling room on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. It was 1970, and I was the first DJ in Scotland and so pleased to be asked to become the resident DJ at the Hydro. After a while, I moved on and did some radio work and went into fashion photography but my fondest memories are with the Dunblane Hydro. I am 68 now and still get a kick when I here music that I used to play all those years ago! Thanks to all those patrons who enjoyed the fun and the music.
